Otters & Wizard Hats Prototype

Join a band of magic otters ransacking their school in search of a mystical wizarding hat.

In the game you start as an otter and can pick from between various spells to use during the game. To make you more powerful you stack different hats with various synergising effects on top of each other with different effects. Using your spells different progress through rooms, find more hats and face various animals all in the name of finishing your quest.

This started as a side project which I eventually ended up prototyping and proposed as a group projects in my school. It is currently (since September 2024) in development full team by a team of 5 (me included).

The prototype is made as a proof of concept and cuts a lot of corners (no proper hat designs, very simple graphics, no adjustments made for game feel at all, etc) and the concept has since been revamped heavily for the full release.
